March Makeover: Day 9

Did you know that manufacturers are not required to list the ingredients on the packaging of household cleaning products? The Federal Hazardous Substances Act only requires that the manufacturer label a product if it is caustic, toxic, an eye irritant or if its chemical make-up could pose a hazard. This means that you may be cleaning your house with toxins and chemicals that have been linked to health problems such as asthma, allergic reactions and cancer.

Detoxify your household today by swapping out your old cleaning products for safer, eco-friendly alternatives.

Here are some that we like:

I’ve been trying to use less toxic cleaning products lately, as they do exacerbate my asthma, eczema and allergies! I love Mrs Meyer’s. I’ve also been using Molly’s Suds for laundry detergent which I love.

    • Mrs. Meyer’s is the best! Their soaps smell amazing. Never heard of Molly’s Suds though, will have to look into that!
