Strawberry Chia Jam

We have been busy in the kitchen these past weeks developing and polishing recipes for our new quarterly e magazine. The first of which, our Purely Spring Magazine, will be released next Monday on Earth Day. Our magazine will feature recipes from purely elizabeth + our amazing blogger/nutrition counselor friends, along with fun seasonal content, such as a spring produce guide, a shape up routine, skincare tips and health tips!

This Strawberry Chia Jam recipe is one of the several healthy spring brunch recipes from our magazine. It is sweetened with coconut sugar, a low glycemic, nutrient-rich sweetener and mixed with chia seeds, powerful superfood seeds rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and protein.

Entertaining for brunch? Make some extra jam for guests in these cute weck jars and hand them out as party favors : )

  2. Looks delicious! One question… If I were to just use plain white sugar, would I use the same amount (2 cups)?

    • Yes, coconut sugar and white sugar are a one to one substitute so you can do the same for any of our recipes. Enjoy!

  6. I’ve never made my own jam, mostly because of all the sugar. Needless to say, I don’t buy it often either… But this sounds like such a great recipe – too good not to make. Not to mention, easy 🙂 Thanks for sharing this!
